About Us

We are mindful of the growing need to support the demand for help for those with seen and unseen disabilities. Our Centre is fully accessible for anyone with mobility issues with an accessible toilet and an exterior ramp up to the main Hall.

Our aim is for the Centre to be inclusive for all.

We are now supporting our Community through the Wellbeing Hub run by five volunteers offering donation only therapies. We have run three successful Stress and Anxiety support groups facilitated by two trained counsellors.

We offer the space for low-cost counselling with subsidised room hire supporting, local counsellors and Sweet Track Counselling Agency.  We are also working with Sweet Track Counselling CIC, offering Nature Assisted Therapy sessions for Young Adults with mental health issues.

We offer free Walks in Nature on the first and third Wednesday each month, guided by one of our directors, Howard Malpas.  These are assessed for those with mobility issues and are inclusive for all.  These walks have offered those suffering from isolation a much needed opportunity to join together with friends, new and old.

Our Learn a Tune sessions run on the second and fourth Wednesday each month, also with Howard Malpas and everyone is welcome to join.  We are delighted to be able to offer these donation only sessions again and our band of troubadours can be seen entertaining locals at various events in the town.  For those who have never had the opportunity to explore music and singing this activity has proved very popular with lots of people of every age in our community and actively benefits mental health needs.

We believe that we provide a very special and unique atmosphere for individuals or groups to meet for both one to one practitioner sessions or for celebrations, courses, workshops and group work.

Please note that the Centre is non residential. There are several very nice B & B’s nearby and we will be adding these to our website shortly.

We are located in a peaceful part of Glastonbury, within walking distance of the town
